Abhisst Thaker is the Managing Partner of  the firm, with more than 10 years of experience of successfully practicing corporate and commercial laws. Abhisst practices in the areas of infrastructure projects, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, government tenders, corporate and commercial transactions (including deal structuring, negotiation, documentation and execution of transactions), competition law and general corporate legal and regulatory advisory.

Abhisst has substantial experience in advising clients on transactions from the conceptualization stage till execution and implementation, from negotiation and drafting of transaction documents and carrying out due-diligence, to monitoring of pre and post-closing obligations. With his vast knowledge and experience in commercial transactions laws and criminal law (inclusive of bail and quashing, Abhisst has handled complicated client situations effectively.

Abhisst’s fora of practice include Supreme Court, High Courts, Arbitration (International and Domestic), Quasi-Judicial Tribunals like National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and National Green Tribunal.

Mrs. Thaker has over 6 years of wide-ranging experience in general matrimonial matters. She has extensive experience in Family law and has been advising both domestic and international clients on all aspects of its activities.

Being a part of the Disputes Resolution team, she handles various high-stakes disputes and represents clients of the firm before courts and tribunals. 

Prateek is a Senior Member of the Dispute Resolution Team. He specializes in Civil, Criminal & Corporate Litigation with over 8 years of experience.

Prateek’s fora of practice include High Courts, District Courts, Consumer Courts, Arbitration (International and Domestic), Quasi-Judicial Tribunals like National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and National Green Tribunal. He advises on Civil & Criminal matters, IPR laws. He also advises on matters before the Investigation Wings relating to corporate criminal investigations and quasi criminal prosecutions (white collar crimes).

In the course of his career Prateek has worked with various leading Indian law firms as well as with HCL Technologies.

Mr. Gopalani is a Registrar (Retd.) and has 20 years of experience in civil litigation and arbitrations. He is primarily involved in advising, strategizing and representing clients in litigations involving commercial contracts, consumer disputes.

Mr. Gopalani represents clients on regular basis before District Courts at Ahmedabad and Tribunals including Debt Recovery Tribunals, State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, and Arbitral Tribunals.

Tahir holds experience of 5 years. He is highly skilled in all aspects of will, trust, estate, probate and family law. Each case is unique and each client receives full attention to conduct a thorough investigation, and fulfill all procedural and evidentiary rights.

He provides services in fields of Land Revenue & tenancy, property dispute, civil disputes, cheque bounce cases, money and debt recovery suits, matrimonial disputes of all religions namely Hindu, Christian and Muslims, documentations, consultations and legal opinions, etc.

Aarushi is experienced in handling complex family court issues and assists the firm in various courts across India.  She has advised on Personal laws pertaining to family disputes, adoption, custody, dowry and execution of foreign divorce decrees etc.

Yagn Purohit works primarily in civil, commercial, and general corporate disputes. Yagn focuses on drafting Petitions, Appeals, Applications, Notices, Rejoinders, & legal opinions concerning legal issues pertaining to civil, commercial, and arbitration law. A member of the Bar Council of Gujarat, he is committed to delivering strategic legal solutions tailored to client needs.

Yagn specializes in civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution, and holds extensive knowledge and experience working on various complex legal issues with a particular focus on Commercial Laws, Arbitration Law, Partnerships, Property Law, Consumer Protection, and Real Estate Laws. Yagn regularly advises clients and appear and pleads before High Court of Gujarat, Civil Courts, Sessions Court, the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Appellate tribunals and Consumer Protection forums, Gujarat Revenue Tribunal, SSRD and such other forums.

Rahul Pandya is a legal practitioner, practicing since 2016 handling complex civil and commercial litigations. Jayesh Labana has been practicing law since 2020, specializing in civil, family, and criminal matters. Nidhi’s area of practice encompasses a broad spectrum of civil litigation, including complex matrimonial disputes and service matters. She possesses a keen interest and developing expertise in both national and international arbitration, as well as criminal litigation. Nidhi regularly advises clients, she appears before High Court of Gujarat, Civil Courts, Sessions Courts and Family courts in State of Gujarat and also assists the firm in various courts of India  She also assists the firm in matters pertaining to Personal Laws across the borders.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law, Marwadi University-Rajkot. Demonstrating exceptional academic merit, she was selected for an international exchange program, completing a semester at IIT-Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, United States. Her academic achievements are further underscored by her participation in prestigious national and international moot court competitions, including the esteemed Jessup International Moot Court Competition.

Pranayaa Thaker is a law intern at Thaker and Co., actively gaining hands-on experience in legal practice. With an academic background in Psychology, she brings unique insights into the interplay between human behavior and legal frameworks. Currently pursuing her law degree, Pranayaa seeks to blend psychological perspectives with legal expertise, offering distinctive value in handling complex legal matters.
